ReUrbA closes with a statement
The ReUrbA project has closed, but not ended. That was the impression remaining after the closing conference in The Hague on 16 November. The vivid and varied meeting concluded with the adoption of the Statement for Strong Cities. This document stresses the importance of cities for culture, human relationships and economic development, and links the ReUrbA strategies to this point of view.

Governance as digital learning                                                        environment
ReUrbA is stopping, but the results of four years of knowledge exchange will remain available. On www.reurba.org , but also in the specially designed digital learning environment. A learning environment had already been created for lifestyles, one of the four ReUrbA strategies. And a second is now being added: governance. Only in Dutch for now, but the English version will be ready in December. In January, a learning environment will follow for a third strategy: value-oriented planning

A box full of ReUrbA
The visitors at the closing conference were presented with a convenient box set. It contained the summary of the four ReUrbA strategies: lifestyles, governance, value-oriented planning and creative densification.
The box also contained the Statement for Strong Cities and the description of the projects.
The books describe the new insights generated by the ReUrbA project. The contents of the books can be found in four PDF files on the site.
