Scope: The Netherlands The Netherlands Institute of Housing and Planning (NIROV) works to maintain and improve standards in planning policy and practice in the Netherlands and is increasingly active within international networks. The institute mobilises individuals and organisations to raise the quality of spatial plans, urban design and development projects by organising workshops, conferences, design seminars, expert meetings and courses (in Dutch). Nirov publishes a daily electronic newsletter in Dutch with all the relevant news for its members. The Dutch part of the website contains more information.
Nirov is also able to assist groups from other countries wanting to organize a study tour in the Netherlands.
